Julie E- Family Photo Session My husband and I have a 21 month old son and a 4 month old daughter and we really wanted some nice family pictures to hang on our walls. Anyone with young kids knows you can't always get pictures of everyone sitting still. EVAN CAN!! He did a photo shoot with us at a park across the street from our house. He knew exactly how to get my son to smile his best smile, and he captured the beauty of my baby girl. These pictures will be hanging in our house for many years to come, and I will remember the fun we had that day with Evan. He made sure everyone was comfortable and looked our best. We got our pictures right away and shortly after we received some retouched photos. The things he can do with the color of the pictures to make everything stand out is practically magic. Catherine P. - Engagement Party I originally learned about Evan J Thomas Photography through some family friends. I was looking for a photographer for the day of my wedding shower and our wedding photographer was not available, so I started the search for another photographer. I know it may sound like a lot to hire a professional photographer for my shower, but the reality was that I wanted my friends and family to enjoy the shower and not have to walk around with a camera. It was really intended to take a load off of the guests and my sister and bridesmaids so they could enjoy the day along with me. I never actually met with Evan before the day of the shower, and my shower was a surprise to me. I mean, I knew the date and that it was going to be held at my parent's home, but I didn't know the theme or even who was going to be coming. When I walked through the door of parent's home, I found a Walt Disney themed shower and was blown away! I love Mickey Mouse and all his friends! I know, how corny am I?? But I'm just a big kid. In fact, we went to Walt Disney World for our honeymoon. Evan had arrived before I did so he captured my reaction when I walked through the door. He caught my husband and I hugging our parents and friends when we arrived. He captured all the little touches our bridesmaids, friends, sisters and parents had put into our shower. He got some great photos of the food before it was touched, he took beautiful photos of us open up our gifts and our reaction to all! He was professional and unobtrusive. I loved him!! I have since learned he does individual photo sessions for families, babies, children, head shots, model portfolios, boudoir, engagement, wedding, sports, concerts and really any moment you want to capture.
